A Bleak Encounter
February 2013 Frankfurt
The short story "A bleak Encounter" resembles the secound chapter of the ongoing story about the sparkling forrest and its creators the matuhi birds.
It is the Black Lucid Robin who dreads the Matuhi, living through their memory, sneaking into their imagination, engraving itself into the back of their creative mind. There have been wild times in the sparkling forest since the Black Lucid Robin appeared, ploughing through the shim- mering shrubs and squalls of glitter. A back phased hack had implanted the idea of the Black Lucid Robin into the memory of the Matuhi’s collective mind through incorporeal time travel back to the infancy stage of the first Matuhi creature.
The lives of the little harmless fellows were overshadowed by the enduring dread. Passing from log to log, taking cover beneath each gloomy bole, they listened for the snap of its terrible man- dibles, they cowered before its swoop.
After a quiet phase, communication flourished again on new frequencies, ready to brew the imaginative cure to grasp a hold in their own world again and expel the cruel invader of lucid technologies. Minds heated, ideas exchanged, elaborated, withdrawn, they filled the air with a fine web of inventive thought in vibrant motion. Shaping a bigger bird out of glittery rust and dust growing with the humming sound of vibrating particles. Diucolorus, the bird of salvation, peaceful as a whale, it fishes for the Robin with patience, swimming through the air separating wheat from chaff, confident that he will sooner or later swallow the Black Lucid Robin with his giant lustrous colorful beak.
This short story resambles the 2nd chapter of a ongoing story about the Matuhis and their imaginary land the sparkling forrest.
